According to accurate astronomical calculations conducted by specialists at the Qatar Calendar House, Eid Al Fitr will fall on Thursday 13 May 2021 (first day of the Shawwal month) with Wednesday 12 May 2021 being the last day of Ramadan 1442 Hijri, according to the Qatar Calendar House Twitter status:

However, the legitimate decision to enter the holy month of Ramadan this year remains the prerogative of the Crescent Vision Investigation Committee at the Ministry of Endowments and Islamic Affairs (AWQAF) in Qatar.
It is noteworthy that the visibility of the crescent is influenced by many factors, including climatic factors, geographical factors, and astronomical factors such as the period of stay and the age of the crescent and its height from the western horizon at sunset. Also, the beginning and end of the Hijri months depend on the movement of the moon in its orbit around the Earth, while the beginning and ending of the Gregorian months depend on the movement of the Earth in its orbit around the Sun.
