In a tweet, Ashghal Qatar announces the partial closure of Onaiza, for the southbound lanes from Qasr Al Marmar Intersection towards Al Khaleej Intersection (known as Al Mannai Roundabout), on Friday, March 18, 2022, from 01:00 AM until 10:00 AM and on Saturday, March 19, 2022, from 02:00 AM until 05:00AM.
The closure is for the installation of Smart ITS Gantry as part of the Interim Improvement of the B-Ring Road, Al Mannai, & Guest Palace Roundabouts Scheme project, which aims to enhance traffic movement and reduce congestion in these vital areas.
