It has been announced in a tweet by The Public Works Authority - Ashghal on April 16, 2022 that a temporary road closure is to take place commencing on Sunday, April 17, 2022 for 4 days.

The closure will be on part of Wadi Al Askar street towards both directions between Wadi Al Wajba street and Wadi Zaafaran street. It is a closure allowing for the completion of the final asphalt layer.
During the closure, road users would have to use Ain Sinan Street accessed through Wadi Al Wajba street or Wadi Zaafaran street to head to their destinations.
