A Qatari plane carrying a shipment of humanitarian aid provided by Qatar Charity, in cooperation with the Qatar Fund for Development, arrived at Kabul International Airport, in the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, as part of the State of Qatar's humanitarian airlift to support the Afghan people.
The shipment contained 39 tons of medical and food aid, bringing the Qatari humanitarian aid that has reached Afghanistan so far to 469 tons.
This Qatari response aims to provide the urgent needs of the Afghan people to face the winter season.
“This aid is crucial for thousands of people as they face the cold winter. Qatar will continue supporting the brotherly Afghan people in these difficult times,” said the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
"Qatar wishes the people of Afghanistan a safe winter and remains committed to supporting them," it added.
