Fans attending the inaugural edition of the ANOC World Beach Games Qatar 2019 will have the privilege of enjoying an array of entertaining events and activities lined up at the Fan Zone at the Katara Beach.
Located behind the basketball competition arena, the zone, which opens to the public between 4 pm - 11 pm each day till the closing ceremony of the competition on October 16, offers spectators the unique hospitality and entertainment Qatar is globally known for.
As a family-themed arena, children will equally have the opportunity of participating in several entertainment activities and games specially packaged for them as the adults also catch their fun. A number of giveaways and prizes are also lined up for spectators at some of the sports arena at the Games.
Entry to the Fan Zone is free and it gives visitors a chance to sample the excitement of the five-day long sports extravaganza in a truly thrilling atmosphere.
Speaking about the Fan Zone, the LOC Director of Marketing Sheikha Asma Al Thani said, "The ANOC World Beach Games Qatar 2019 is not just about sports but a truly entertaining event specially packaged for the entire family.
The Fan Zone is also a platform to unite communities and cultures from across the world . Every one is welcomed at the Fan Zone to enjoy array of activities lined up for them."
The ANOC World Beach Games holds from October 12 to 16 at four venues namely Katara Beach, Al Gharaffa Stadium, Aspire Park and the Ritz Carlton Hotel in Doha.
