The Amiri Naval Forces carried out a joint exercise with British Royal Navy forces in the economic waters of the State of Qatar.
The phases of the exercise included training on how to maneuver and how to defend the ship in the event of an external attack, as well as a visit and inspection exercise and other exercises that contribute to the exchange of experiences between the two countries.
Commander of the exercise Captain Naser Ayed Al Qahtani said that these exercises aim to raise the efficiency of crews and standardize concepts, and that they are within cooperation agreements between the two countries in the fields of training and planning on all tasks and duties required. (QNA)
