Amiri Air Force participates in NATO anniversary celebrations in the U.K.

The Amiri Air Force participated in the 70th anniversary celebrations of the establishment of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO), which was held at the Fairford Air Base in the United Kingdom, under the motto "Air and Space: Inspiring the next generation air forces".

The ceremony, which was held on the sidelines of events at the end of the Royal Airshow, was attended by about 245 aircraft and fighter jets from NATO member states and friendly and allied countries including the State of Qatar.

The Amiri Air Force participated with its strategic transport aircraft, which evoked considerable interest among the visitors. The ceremony was attended by a number of senior officials of the NATO, senior commanders officers representatives of participating countries, and a number of senior representatives of defense and air defense companies.

The Amiri Air Force had participated in the Royal Airshow with strategic transport aircraft C17/Globe Master and C-130/J-30 Super Hercules, and the participating Qatari peace-keeping aircraft won the first position of the best aircraft.

The Airshow was held in the context of the Royal Navy International Air Day (RNAS), in which the participating countries presented their air capabilities and live airshows by aircraft and fighter jets.
