The Prime Minister and Foreign Minister H E Sheikh Hamad bin Jassem bin Jabor Al Thani said differences in stances between Qatar and the US administration have become less than what they had been during the Israeli war on Gaza. In a statement to Al Jazeera Satellite Channel after the talks he had in Washington with US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, Sheikh Hamad bin Jassem said the participation of all Palestinians is a necessary demand for the progress of the peace process and for the achievement of results. He added that Qatar’s decision to freeze the activity of the Israeli commercial representation office will not be reconsidered until Doha senses a genuine intention from Israel towards peace and a serious action ensuring such a position.
