ALF’s Education Festival aims to attract more than 10,000 visitors

The Al Faisal Without Border Foundation (ALF) Education Festival is looking at attract more than 10,000 visitors this year.

The Education Festival, which will run for five days, will open at the Qatar National Convention Center on March 21.

This was announced by ALF at a press conference at the Marquis Marriott Hotel on March 11, in the presence of Abdul Latif Al Yafei, Executive Director of Al-Faisal Without Borders Foundation, Saad Al Derham, Director of School Affairs at the Ministry of Education and Hassan Abdullah Al Mohammadi, Director of Public Relations and Media at the Ministry of Education and Higher Education.

The event is being organised in cooperation with the Ministry of Education and Higher Education. The festival aims to encourage the participants to work to fulfill the Qatar National Vision for 2030.

Platform for all learners!

The primary objective of the festival is to provide a forum to connect a diverse range of participants in the fields of education, for all ages and levels of learning. They would include head teachers and teachers, school managements and staff, parents, students, and other interested practitioners and individuals from the educational establishments in Qatar.

Workshops for better teaching and learning practices

The festival, which will highlight innovations and creativity in education, will attract participants from around 150 private and government schools. More than 10,000 students, parents and other visitors are likely to attend the festival which will have as many as 180 workshops for teachers, students, parents and others.

With a spirit of cooperation and mutual learning, this is expected to become one of the pivotal events in the Qatari education calendar, resulting in better teaching and learning practices and helping to create confident, professional teachers who can face the challenges of education in the 21st century by supporting students in their education and preparing them for successful future careers.
