The Al Waab Signal will be partially closed from today for up to a week for urgent maintenance work on irrigation lines, the Public Works Authority (Ashghal) announced yesterday. Due to the closure, motorists coming from Sadd Signal towards Al Waab will have to turn right towards Lakhwiya Roundabout and then turn left and then right to come back to Al Waab Street. Motorists coming from Bustan Street towards Al Waab Street will have to go straight towards Lakhwiya Roundabout, turn left and then turn right to enter Al Waab Street, or they will turn right towards Sadd Signal. The road maintenance section at the Operation and Maintenance Department (O&M) of the Assets Affairs of Ashghal recently opened Majlis Taawn Street and Al Khaleej Street after maintenance work.
