Al Tadamun traffic intersection, work on which is currently in progress, is expected to be opened to the traffic next month, a local Arabic daily reported yesterday. Eighty percent of work on the project is over and the remaining 20 percent is likely to be over by next month, sources in the Public Works Authority (Ashghal) told the daily. There was a roundabout at Al Tadamun and it is being converted into traffic intersection. As for work on converting The Mall (Nuaija) roundabout into traffic intersection, 30 percent of the work is over and the intersection is likely to be completed by November this year. Work on both the projects is progressing very fast because the schools are closed for summer vacation and a lot of people are still out of the country holidaying so the roads are not that busy.
