Al Sharq and The Peninsula have decided to donate proceeds from sales of the newspapers from today until the end of the holy month of Ramadan to support Palestinians in Gaza.
Over 600 Palestinians, including women and children, have died, hundreds have been injured and thousands of homes and infrastructure facilities destroyed since a brutal Israeli aggression began two weeks ago.
The donation is a way of expressing solidarity with people in Gaza, who have been subjected to genocide and war crimes by the Israeli armed forces. Revenue from sales will be donated to Shiekh Thani Bin Abdullah Foundation for Humanitarian Services, which is involved in relief efforts in Gaza Strip.
