The Al Sharq newspaper reported on June 1, 2022, the relaunch of the Al Meera floating market.

Al Meera Consumer Goods floating market is located near Al Safliya Island. This has been relaunched in line with the arrival of the summer season and due to the remarkable positive feedback, they had previously received.

The floating marketing was initially launched in 2021 and gave easy access to essential items that sea-goers would need. It targeted those who engaged in water sports and users of boats, yachts, and ferries.

Aside from necessities, the market also offers food items like snacks and non-food products as well for the ease of consumers. Some of the offered products include; ice cream, snacks, drinks, rice, chicken, ice, ready meals, charcoal, first aid products, goggles, inflatable boats, and more.

To ensure their staff onboard are safe, Al Meera has enrolled the concerned team in “SeaSurvival” training which includes training on safety procedures at sea.
