The Ministry of Municipality and Environment announced on its Twitter account that the Al Khor Family Park Zoo witnessed the birth of an African lion cub. The Ministry however did not mention when the cub was born.
The necessary veterinary care is provided to the cub according to an artificial breastfeeding program throughout the day for about two months, and in the third month, it changes from breastfeeding to feeding on meat gradually, the Ministry mentioned.
