AL HITMI HOSPITALITY CO.’S ASSOCIATION WITH FRASER HOSPITALITY PTE LTD
– Al Hitmi Hospitality Company, part of the giant Al Hitmi Group, has announced its association with Fraser Hospitality PTE Ltd., becoming the exclusive sponsor and owner of the new Fraser Suites Doha Hotel in Qatar.
Fraser Suites Doha is a five-star luxury hotel with 138 Gold Standard residences, ranging from a studio to one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments, all equipped with modern facilities, providing every comfort to today’s discerning business or leisure traveller. Located in the heart of the city, on the Corniche, the hotel is the third Fraser Suites property to be opened in the Middle East.
“We are proud to be associated with the hospitality arm of the Al Hitmi group of companies,” said Mustapha Henini, General Manager of Fraser Suites Doha. “Together, we bring an added value to Qatar’s fast growing economy, with our fully-equipped residences, atrium business lounge, state-of-the-art gym facilities, rooftop swimming pool and our world-class service.”
A prominent name in Qatar’s real estate industry for nearly 50 years, the Al Hitmi Group has a varied and diverse range of business interests - locally, regionally and globally. These include property construction and development; bulk shipping and marine support services; a comprehensive business and administrative support centre; financial advisory, investment and portfolio management services; and concessions in elevator installations & maintenance, air-conditioning and automotive tyres industries.
One of the group’s companies, Al Hitmi Property Development, was one of the first Real Estate firms to specialise in the urban regeneration of the city of Doha. It is now one of the largest property developers in Qatar, specialising in both commercial and residential development, and owning and operating many prestigious properties throughout the country.
Its most recently completed project was that of the Al Hitmi office building on the Corniche. Inspired by the imagery of stone formations cantilevered over a body of water, the 18,000 square metres building is clad in dark tinted glass, polished and textured natural stones, creating a metamorphic link to the Arabian Gulf. Not for nothing is the company’s name synonymous with the word “innovative.”
