Public Projects Department at Qatar Public Works Authority (Ashghal) announced three new park projects and 2 of these (Umm Al Seneem Park and Al Gharrafa Park will be the world's first air-conditioned parks in August 2021.

Al Gharrafa Park which is is located at Umm Al Zuber Street in Al Gharrafa is finally open. This park is on an area of ​​about 50, 000 square meters will cover many facilities for visitors of all ages as well as a distinct green environment. The features include a green arena along 36,000 square meters, planting 307 trees, pedestrian and bicycle paths along 650 meters, 208 car parking lots.
