Qatar Customs announced in a tweet on 11 August 2022 that the Hamad International Airport Customs prevented a smuggle of the narcotic substance hashish.

أحبطت إدارة جمارك مطار حمد الدولي محاولة تهريب مادة الحشيش المخدرة مخبأة بطريقة سرية داخل كرتون لأحد المسافرين القادمين الى الدولة ، وبلغ الوزن الاجمالية للمادة المضبوطة 2061 جرام ، وبمجرد إتمام عملية الضبط تم على الفور اتخاذ الإجراءات القانونية

The substance amounted to 2061 grams and was found in a box of a passenger arriving in Qatar.
