Strong winds are expected in parts of the country by this afternoon and it will also be hot, the Qatar Met department has said. Windy conditions and high seas in some places are likely in offshore areas, too, during the day. The wind speed may go up to 22 knots by the afternoon inshore and 30 knots at times offshore, with the sea level rising to 10ft. The detailed forecast also says it will be hot during the day and slight to blowing dust is expected in some places at times. Slight dust is also likely offshore. A maximum temperature of 45C is expected in Al Khor today, followed by 44C in Doha, Mesaieed and Wakrah. Yesterday, the maximum was 47C in Turayna, while in Doha it was 43C. (Source)
