Indian ambassador P Kumaran said a legend musician A R Rahman will perform in Doha as part of the Qatar-India Year of Culture 2019.

Katara Studio says they will host a musical event of A R Rahman at Khalifa International Stadium partnered up with a Qatari composer Dana Alfardan on March.

There are many more events lined up throughout February and March.

The inaugural programme of Qatar-India Year of Culture 2019 will be held at the Opera House at Katara - the Cultural Village with a special VIP performance and the same programme will be performed on the next day (February 5) for the community members.

Indian Embassy tweeted on January 24th 2019, there will be a fusion musical performance of Indian musicians with Qatar Philharmonic Orchestra to perform Indian, Arabic and Western styled concert at Qatar National Convention Center on February 8th.
