The Public Works Authority “Ashghal” announced a new diversion on Al Matar Street stretching in the direction from Al Wakra to Doha starting Thursday 24th of July 2014. The permanent street is to be opened completely in both directions later on.
It is worth mentioning that Ashghal will close the current temporary road diversion and divert the traffic to the new diversion as per the attached map.
This opening is part of the F-Ring project undertaken by Ashghal to provide access to the new Hamad International Airport and a direct link to the south of Doha; in addition to infrastructure work.
Ashghal remains committed to equip the area with all signs needed to direct vehicles; and urges all road users to abide by speed limits and traffic signs to ensure their safety.
