The International School of London Qatar celebrated its fifth annual International Family Food Fair (IFFF) on Saturday, March 3rd. The event was an exciting melting pot of different cultures, international delicacies, games and music from all over the world that each country took pride in showcasing. A spirit of friendship, diversity and unity took over ISL Qatar.
The IFFF was attended by over 1000 visitors including students, parents, staff and the Doha community who came to enjoy this magical afternoon. The 70 different nationalities represented in the school came together for a truly international event. Diversity is one of the pillars of ISL Qatar that is exemplified in the school events such as the IFFF.
The event also held a prize draw with over 40 exciting prizes donated from our generous sponsors: Santa Fe Relocation, Al Nokhba Travel, Grand Hyatt Hotel, K108 Hotel, Inbound Tours Qatar, Elisabietta, Guidance Events, Andrea Espinosa, Shangri-La Hotel, The International Medical Center & Physiotherapy Center, Pinkies Salon, St Regis Hotel, Glow American Salon, BE Basketball, Melissa Jewelry, First Fit Training, Minipolis, Mokarabia, Gahwetna, Damasca, Orient Pearl Restaurant, Cafe Ceramique, Kidzmondo, Baladna Park, Shatta and El Haty restaurants.
Prizes included trips to Muscat, jewelry, 5 star hotel stays and restaurant vouchers, beauty treatments, a makeover worth QAR850, and much more. All the profits from this event were donated to Sponsor A Child Charity. The school was able to raise over QAR 10,000. Thanks to our community for their generosity!
