In collaboration with Qatar Foundation’s Reach Out To Asia (ROTA), Carnegie Mellon students and staff volunteered to teach basic English to Qatar Foundation service staff as part of the program. Language Bridges equips workers with basic English skills enabling them to communicate more effectively in their day to day lives.

Over 700 participants have graduated from the student-led program since 2010. Language Bridges was originally launched under the umbrella of Vodafone's World of Difference Program.
