The 67th Independence Day of India will be celebrated at the Indian embassy in Doha on Thursday 15th August, 2013. A flag-hoisting ceremony will be held at 7am at the premises of Indian Cultural Centre on Street No. 916, Wahb Bin Omair, Al Mamoura. Ambassador Sanjiv Arora will host the National Flag and will read out President Pranab Mukherjee’s message. The national anthem and patriotic songs will be sung by students of Indian schools in Doha. All Indian nationals in Qatar are invited to join the celebrations. Source:Qatar chronicle
