The first ship carrying 5,000 Australian sheep for Eid Al Adha reached Doha yesterday.
They were brought to Widam company’s farmyard. In the next few day, three more ships are expected to arrive carrying more sheep and Austrian calves to meet local market needs.
Widam has coordinated with authorities to prepare the abattoirs, four of which are in Doha. (Source / Image)
