THE Ministry of Labour has penalised 38 private companies for violating the provisions of labour law. It suspended transactions of the private companies from the November 23 to 27. The labour department said that the decision to suspend the transactions of the companies was part of the current intensive campaign conducted by the department’s inspectors to tighten control over the private sector companies’ and urge them to abide by the labour law. – QNA
