The Ministry of Municipality, represented by the Agricultural Quarantine Offices of the Department of Agricultural Affairs, announced in a tweet that it inspected 5,452 goods weighing 84,712 tons, of various types of imported agricultural goods (vegetarian consignments, products, production inputs), at all customs ports in the country during the month of July.
The ministry also mentioned that 78 goods weighing 36.68 tons were destroyed, for violating the Agricultural Quarantine Law and for being infested with quarantine or non-quarantine pests in large proportions.
