The Public Gardens Department (Municipal Services Affairs) at Al Rayyan Municipality planted 30,000 saplings of seasonal flowers in April at various locations within its jurisdiction.
The areas covered included Al Sudan roundabout, Al Waab garden, Al Sayliyah garden, Abu Sidra garden, Al Manaseer garden and the 22 February intersection.
Besides, around 1,000sqm of green patches have been planted on Sports City Street and 500sqm were also covered with agricultural soil.
