In a Tweet, the Public Works Authority 'Ashghal' has announced a 2-day closure on Al Corniche Street between Sharq Intersection & Al Meena Intersection to traffic coming from Sharq Intersection, Friday & Saturday 1-2 July 2022, & shifting traffic to Ali Bin Amur Al Attiya St. & A Ring Road.

During the closure, aimed to complete Al Corniche Street upgrading, road users heading for Al Meena Intersection, from C Ring Road should turn left towards A Ring Road Street and use Ali Bin Amur Al Attiya Street or Grand Hamad Street.

Road users coming from Al Wakra & Hamad International Airport via Ras Bu Abboud St. towards Al Corniche St. can keep on Sharq Intersection Bridge towards A Ring Rd then and use Ali Bin Amur Al Attiya St. or Grand Hamad St. & follow traffic diversion signs to reach their destination.
