The Ministry of Labour has recently launched the monthly statistics of requests, complaints, and violations processed on their website.

The Ministry announced in a series of tweets on 5 September 2022 the details and records gathered for the month of August 2022.

The records for the month of August 2022 are:

• Out of 5,832 occupation change requests, 4,875 have been accepted.
• Out of 117 domestic worker complaints, 96 have been settled, 11 are under process and 10 have been transferred to relevant committees.
• Out of 9,945 recruitment requests, 5,489 have been accepted.
• Out of 4,602 establishments inspected, 120 were in violation of the Law of the Ministerial decree No. 17 of 2021 specifying measures to protect workers from heat stress
• 910 recorded violations against companies for Wage Protection

The Ministry of Labour continues its campaign on ensuring the safety of workers and the compliance of establishments as indicated in the Qatar Labour Law.
