Shop Qatar is Qatar’s biggest shopping festival and it’s back again this year for its fourth edition! Organised by the Qatar National Tourism Council (NTC), this grand shopping festival gives the residents of Qatar and those visiting in this season, the opportunity to explore and take advantage of its diverse retail and entertainment offerings.

2020 year marks the start of the Qatar-France Year of Culture, and Shop Qatar ends with weeklong Chinese New Year celebrations which will start on 21 January and go on till 31 January. Everyone’s favorite Disney movies come alive with the Qatar Philharmonic Orchestra at the Qatar National Convention Centre during Shop Qatar from 17 to 19 January!
Watch this concert and awaken a little mermaid who longs to be human, a lion cub who struggles to find his place in the circle of life, and two sisters who wish to warm a frozen relationship. The stories of The Little Mermaid, The Lion King, Beauty and the Beast, Frozen, Aladdin and more, are told through the talents of four guest performers flown in directly from Broadway, with over one hour of high resolution video clips from the original films and sweeping orchestral scores performed live by the Qatar Philharmonic Orchestra.
The magic of Disney storytelling comes to life once again and reminds us anew that anything is possible, “…if you keep on believing, the dream that you wish will come true.”

A host of live music concerts featuring renowned Pakistani band Junoon and Indian artist Sonu Nigam will take audiences to Asia during Shop Qatar with performances that are bound to mesmerise the audiences to hum along with the lyrics and move your feet to the melodies.
Fashion-forward shoppers can catch a glimpse of the latest couture and ready-to-wear fashion at Shop Qatar’s Fashion Shows. 20 international, regional and local designers such as Waad, Soleil Abayas, Shaden, Al Dukan, Sarmad, Tamader, Ahmed Talfeet, Laith Maalof, Bariş, Naja Saade, Toufic Al Hassan, and Amjad Al Adab will be showcasing their Spring/ Summer collections 2020 on 23-27 January at the opulent Al Hazm.

Qatar Airways Holidays is offering fly and stay packages to visitors from both Oman and Kuwait. The packages include return flights, two nights (plus breakfast) at 5, 4, and 3-star hotels, along with a free shopping transfer tour with chauffeur services being available on request.
The Ministry of the Interior (MOI) is offering visitors a more streamlined application process through its new Visa Portal. Applications will be processed within 24 hours for those identifying Shop Qatar as the reason for their visit.
Shop Qatar has partnered with Careem during the festival to provide a credit of 50% to shoppers using the service to visit participating locations during Shop Qatar.
