On 22 August 2021, CBS News reported that 111 Afghan schoolgirls in Kabul fleed from Kabul and have successfully arrived at the Al Udeid Air Base in Qatar.

They arrive at AUAB in Doha and have already been processed.
As per CBS News, the girls attended a special leadership school in Kabul sponsored by Qatar.
