The 7th Doha Natural Gas Exhibition got under way yesterday, showcasing a record 110 exhibitors, including Qatar Petroleum.
Deputy Premier HE Abdullah bin Hamad al-Attiyah and Opec Secretary General Abdalla el-Badri yesterday jointly opened the four-day exhibition.
The expo, jointly organised by Qatar Expo and Qatar Petroleum at the Doha Exhibition Centre, claims to have a record 110 exhibitors from more than 30 countries, including Russia, Singapore, the UK, Norway Spain, the US, Austria, Denmark, Germany, India, Egypt and other GCC countries.
“We expect a number of exhibitors will be making special announcements during this week’s event,” said Doha Natural Gas Conference and Exhibitions official Georges Saliba.
Other prominent exhibitors include Chevron International, Dolphin Energy, ExxonMobil Qatar, Maersk Oil Qatar, Oryx GTL, Qatar Science and Technology Park, Rasgas Company, Technip, Total E&P Qatar and banking giants like Qatar Islamic Bank.
