Ashghal is set to finish construction of 10 kindergarten schools by the end of August, just in time to meet the requirements of the Supreme Education Council. The government’s public works authority has also plans to implement 10 more kindergarten school buildings starting June, however, they have not set any dates cor completion, a local Arabic daily reported. The new school-building projects consist of multi-purpose halls, parking lots and campus landscaping works. Ashghal is also in implementing 14 other new schools with a project cost of QR600m, will be handled by SEC for the academic year 2012-2013. Seven other remaining schools buildings are about to be finished within the next few months which brings to a total of 121 schools in the country being completed by Ashghal in the last 10 years.
