Red Bull 60:Seconds heads back to Qatar for the second time and gives creative students the chance to demonstrate their audio-visual skills at a unique event based on directional talent and imagination.

This competition is exclusive for university students in Qatar who should produce a 60-second short clip answering two questions: What inspires you? What gives you wings? After an application period of 2 weeks, the best 20 clips will be selected to participate at an extraordinary clip award ceremony.

Interested students can participate individually or as a team of up to 3 members, by sending their name(s), movie name, university and contact number to: [email protected]

4 judges expert in the field will onsite vote for the clips before announcing the results and distributing 4 different Award Prizes: Best Story, Best Picture, Best Editing, Popularity (most views on YouTube).

The judges will vote for the first 3 categories, while the popularity award will be determined by the number of online views. Therefore, students should upload their clip to YouTube using the Title: Red Bull 60:Seconds QA – “Nameofyourmovie”, then send the link to [email protected] and activate the clip digitally to get most views! Deadline for submission is March 30th, 2014.

Red Bull 60:Seconds will give wings to creative students by helping them to be a ‘film star’ for a day and celebrating their creative outcome in an outstanding award ceremony to be held at The Pearl, Outdoor Amphitheater starting 5:45 PM on April 5^th.
