Do you know superstar and supermodel Naomi Campbell is in Doha? She and other huge celebrities are in town for the #QatarCreates and Fashion Trust Arabia events that are taking place in Qatar to showcase and support young talent.

Last night Naomi Campbell and Valentino’s creative director Pierpaolo Piccioli were seen with Her Excellency Sheikha Al Mayassa bin Hamad Al Thani at the Museum of Islamic Art at the opening event of Qatar Museums' #QatarCreates, which will also host the four-day (2 - 5 November 2021) Fashion Trust Arabia Prize 2021. The event will feature high-end brands and internationally renowned public figures like Naomi Campbell, Pierpaolo Piccioli, Irina Shayk, Adriana Lima, Joshua Jackson, Virgil Abloh, Elie Saab, Zuhair Murad, Lianne La Havas, Azza Fahmy, Lorraine Schwartz and more.

What is FTA?

Fashion Trust Arabia (FTA), a non-profit organisation and the first-of-its-kind in the Arab world, was established by a number of world-renowned fashion designers, executives, and personalities in September 2018. The aim is to help designers from the Arab World build their brand and gain international exposure.

FTA was founded by Tania Fares – co-author of ‘London Uprising: Fifty Fashion Designers, One City’ and British Vogue Contributing Editor. It is chaired by H.H. Sheikha Moza and co-chaired by Her Excellency Sheikha Al Mayassa bint Hamad Al Thani, and they collaborate with which offers these designers support and mentorship to achieve success in the fashion world.
