ICYMI: Check out the super compelling photo exhibition by Jessica Fulford-Dobson, the Skate Girls of Kabul. This exhibition tells the extraordinary story of Afghan girls who took up skateboarding, thanks to an Afghan charity that provides skate parks as a hook to get children from disadvantaged families back into the educational system.

Katara International Falcons and Hunting Exhibition — Sunday, September 24

LAST DAY: Like the noble oryx, falcons are very loved in Qatar. This week, Katara’s International Hunting and Falcons Exhibition kicks off! It’s one of the largest international exhibitions that specializes in falcons. The exhibition will include numerous activities and events, such as falcon auctions, falcon displays, and more! A pavilion will be also dedicated to hunting-related handicrafts and falcon supplies.

Beginners Kufic for Women — Wednesday, Sept. 27 & Sunday, Oct. 1

Every Sunday and Wednesday from September 10 to October 29, you can learn more about writing ‘Kufic.’ Many Quran are written in Kufic calligraphy which is characterized by its bold and vertical letters and comes is several types (for example eastern Kufic or western Kufic). Join this workshop to learn more about this early and beautiful script.

LaLiga Festival — Thursday, September 28 - Saturday, October 7

Beach Daze at Flipflops Beach Club — Friday, September 29

Royal Air Force Red Arrows Aerial Show — Saturday, Sept. 30

The iconic British Royal Air Force acrobatic team, the Red Arrows, are coming to Qatar for a fast-paced aerial show over the Sheraton Grand Doha this Saturday, September 30, 2017!
