Qatar National Day (QND) is one of the biggest celebrations that the people of Qatar, locals, residents, and visitors alike, commemorate. This year’s festivities are extra special as they coincide with the World Cup finals.

The (ILQ) team has put together a list of events to check out for this special holiday!

Darb Al Saai

The much-awaited Darb Al Saai event is back to welcome visitors to cultural festivities.

It has now taken a larger 150,000 sqm area at Umm Salal Mohamad featuring 4,500 cultural, heritage, arts, sports, & entertainment activities, more than 30 dining options, 80 stores plus exhibitions, workshops, & crafts.

The venue has been designed to replicate an old traditional village where guests can come, explore and have fun!

Air Show at Lusail Boulevard

This year the iconic Qatar National Day air show will be held at the new Lusail Boulevard, where the Ministry of Defense will take the sky and deliver a stunning aerial performance celebrating the holiday.

  • Location: Lusail Boulevard
  • Date and timing: 18 December 2022 from 3 pm to 3:15 pm
  • Price: FREE!

Qatar National Day Parade at Lusail Boulevard

Lusail Boulevard has recently shared videos and images of synchronized military marches, parades, car shows, and more happening within the area. The exact timings and more details are to be confirmed.

Corniche Water Show

    Qatar National Day celebrations at Katara

    Enjoy a symphony of Qatari music, a traditional military show, spectacular fireworks, and other events and activities perfect for the whole family!

    • Date and timing: 16 - 18 December 2022 from 4 pm to 11 pm

    Qatar National Day activities at Mall of Qatar

    Mall of Qatar will be hosting various activities, and entertainment acts in celebration of Qatar National Day. Guests will enjoy stage shows of flag dancers and musical performances, kids' activities of henna, face painting, mascots, arts & crafts, special contests offering prizes, and a live screening of the final match on 18 December 2022!

    Embrace the richness of Qatari culture at St. Regis Doha
