The talented students of Qatar Music Academy, in association with Steinway Piano Gallery Qatar, have performed their second concert on the stage of Jazz at Lincoln Center at The St. Regis Doha Hotel, The Finest Address in Qatar. Qatar Music Academy is the leading music academy in Qatar which combines between academic learning and musical depth. The vision of the academy focuses on furthering musical excellence in Qatar and the wider region. Qatar Music Academy is a member of Qatar Foundation for Education, Science and Community Development
Steinway Piano Gallery Qatar is a branch of the renowned Steinway & Sons, a name which represents the highest standards of musical excellence. Steinway Piano Gallery focuses on reaching new levels of musical appreciation through bringing pianos closer to Qatar.
A total number of 8 students from the ages of 11-16 represented a variety of nationalities which include locals and expats. The students performed pieces by Mozart, Hansen, Beethoven, Chopin, Bach, Paganini, Fink, Rameau, Villa-Lobos, Rieding, Schubert and Moszkowski on the piano, violin trumpet and snare drum. The next series of concerts are scheduled to happen on the 20th of February 2016 and on 23rd of April 2016.
