The Sheraton Doha played host to an afternoon of pizza making at La Veranda Italian Restaurant yesterday, Wed 11 February, 2015 and ILQ was kindly invited along to this fun event.
Under the watchful eye of La Veranda’s Chefs, members of the Media were guided through the process of making delicious doughy creations with tasty toppings, which we later savored after all our hard work.
You too can become a Pizza Master Chef, as La Veranda will be offering Pizza Making Classes every Saturday from 3-5pm, starting from 21st February at a cost of QR 150 per person. Reservations can be made by calling 4485 3000.
One of our tutors, Chef Federico Carsili has recently joined the La Veranda team from Montecastrili, Italy. He has created an exciting menu with new signature dishes, as well as old favourites, which can be enjoyed both indoors and on the beautiful outdoor terrace, which affords stunning sea views.
La Veranda is open for dinner daily from 7-10.30pm and offers a tasty “Brunch all’italiana” every Friday from 12.30 to 15.00 hrs. While enjoying the live entertainment from guitarist and singer Marcelo Valor, guests can visit the various cooking stations and savor traditional Italian pasta, risotto, pizza and delicious dolci. With soft drinks included, the Friday Brunch costs 350 QR per person and QR 450 per person with spumante included.
To celebrate Valentine’s Day on February 14th from 7pm onwards, there is “Amore a “La Veranda”, a wonderful 3 course dining experience for QR 650 per couple which includes a glass of fizz each.
