The three-day thrilling and long-awaited festival is expected to welcome tens of thousands of excited visitors. “This years RTW festival will be set as a benchmark for all youth and sports events, not only in Qatar but in the region as a whole. Qatar is the regions sports capital and RTW festival is an important player in that it incorporates several types of sports, such as water sports, extreme sports, and ball sports. We at The Youth Company are trying to fulfill that vision by making Qatar the youth and sports capital, which follows Qatar’s national vision of 2030.” RTW Festival 2014 will be organized in partnership with Qatar Cancer Society to carry out a thrilling experience.

Run the World Festival is a regional youth sports festival, aiming to engage youth in cultural exchange, community outreach, and promoting a healthier lifestyle. RTW Festival visitors will see cultural and musical performances in the Youth Got Talent Competition, which provides a platform for the youth of Qatar to showcase their unique talents. People will also be able to participate in a variety of sports such as skateboarding, Parkour, beach volleyball, and football. Visitors will also witness RTW Souq, Global Village, and talented street musicians in a unique mixture of events, which is bound to be special.

RTW Festival 2014 will also be incorporating the youth of Qatar in this unique event. Mohamed Farid commented that “We don’t want the youth to feel like they are just attending another event, on the contrary we want them to interact and be a part of a one-of-a-kind youth-driven event.”

This year’s festival will be unlike any of the other festivals you’ve seen before. It will allow the youth of Qatar to engage in unique healthy and exciting activities. RTWF 2014 really will be bigger and better than ever before.
