The sixth annual Qatar International Food Festival (QIFF) 2015, organised by the Qatar Tourism Authority and Qatar Airways, commences tomorrow, Tuesday 24 March 2015 and Qatar's hospitality sector is all set to delight visitors with a host of food and beverages to tantalise everyone’s taste buds.
With the world's best chefs showcasing signature dishes from a variety of different cultures and countries and prepare food from around the world, there will be something for everyone to enjoy.
Entry Fee
Entry to the venue is free and open to all. Some attractions have a cost whilst food stall prices will range from QR 5 to QR 40.

This year’s festival culinary highlights include:
Qatar Airways is hosting the highly popular ‘Dinner in the Sky’ offering festival visitors the opportunity to experience the national airline’s five-star hospitality and Business Class menu and service with a spectacular bird eye’s view of Doha’s great landmarks as seen from 60 metres above the ground. It is open for families and guests from 5:00-10:00p.m. Visitors can also enjoy mouthwatering appetisers and premium tea at the ‘flying kitchen’ from 2:00-5:00p.m.
Marsa Malaz Kempinski The Pearl Doha is providing an artisan English-inspired Golden High Tea Tent from Café Murano offering authentic tastes of the Levant courtesy of the newly opened Al Sufra restaurant. The two-tiered panoramic High Tea venue will feature an open terrace and is certain to be the piece de resistance at this year’s festival.
Souq Waqif Boutique Hotels presents this year’s ‘Dinner on a Dhow’ activity, providing seafaring guests with a light meal and tea on a traditional Dhow. The Dhow departs every half an hour between 2:00-5:00p.m. An evening cruise is also available providing visitors with a rich and colorful dinner buffet and barbecue from 6:30-8:00p.m.
The ever-popular floating ‘BBQ Donut’ returns to this year's festival courtesy of The Diplomatic Club, offering up to eight people on each trip the chance to enjoy a delicious meal and show off their barbeque skills at the grill.
Parking
Parking will not be available at MIA or MIA Park during the Qatar International Food Festival. Public parking will be made available in alternate locations.
A park-and-ride service is being offered at the Marriott Doha hotel on the Corniche and at the old airport arrivals terminal. Free shuttles buses will take visitors from these parking locations to the MIA.
