And every year, the activities will include a cultural exchange programme to bring Qatar closer to the various international audiences.

QIFF seeks to provide an opportunity for Qatar's hospitality sector to present its best offerings of food and beverages, and to highlight the various types of food and their relation with the history of people and civilisations around the world. QTA launched QIFF in 2010 as part of its efforts to work in partnership with stakeholders in the public and private sectors to plan, organise, promote and develop a sustainable tourism sector capable of offering original experiences to tourists and visitors, particularly families, thus enriching the cultural and entertainment agenda with unique events.
