Qatar Airways is pleased to be the Official Airline Partner for the Qatar-India Music Extravaganza, a spectacular event that will see Bollywood’s ‘Sultans of Swag’ Vishal Dadlani and Shekhar Ravjiani perform live for the first time ever in Doha, Qatar. The concert will be presented by FAB Entertainment and will take place at the state-of-the-art Ali Bin Hamad Al Attiyah Arena in Doha on 1 March 2019.

The much-anticipated concert will also include a special performance by famous Qatari singer Fahad Al-Kubaisi, who will wear a bespoke ensemble by global fashion designer Manish Malhotra. The concert will feature globally-acclaimed Indian singer-songwriter duo Vishal and Shekhar, who are known for delivering chart-toppers ever year for the Indian music industry. Their biggest hit, "Swag Se Swagat", became the world's fastest song to hit 100 million views on YouTube before going on to reach nearly 700 million views. The pair have composed music for more than 60 films, released more than 300 songs, and have performed in more than 500 live concerts.

As the Official Airline Partner, Qatar Airways looks forward to being the bridge between Qatar and India, whose close partnership will be highlighted in this concert that will acknowledge the universal language of music shared between both the nations.”

The Qatar-India Year of Culture 2019 invites audiences in both Qatar and India to explore their shared cultural heritage through an exciting array of programmes, including a variety of Qatari-Indian exhibitions, musical performances, fashion, film and artistic events. The Year of Culture programme, developed under the patronage of Her Excellency Sheikha Al Mayassa bint Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani, Chairperson of Qatar Museums, has continued to grow under her leadership each passing year, with the Qatar-Russia Year of Culture 2018 programme being the largest cultural collaboration to date.
