Katara reduces prices for water sports activities by 50%

Katara has slashed prices for all of its marine sports and activities by 50% with entrance fees to the beach being QR 10 for adults and free of charge for persons under 18 years old. Any person using any marine sports and activities of the beach can also enjoy the beach services for free, according to Katara Qatar Twitter Page

Katara water activities with the 50% discount

Boat rides with a maximum of six persons have been reduced from QR 120 to QR 60, while Catamaran rides with a maximum of 10 people are now half the prices with prices dropping from QR 200 to QR 100. In addition, water skiing and parasailing are now half the price at QR 75 and QR 50 respectively.

If you want to try sea pedal boating for a maximum of four people, the price is now QR 25 and has been reduced from QR 50, while kayaking and canoeing prices have been slashed from QR 50 to QR 25.

Safety notice for the Katara beach activities

  • All activities depend on weather conditions.
  • Children under 16 years must be accompanied by an adult.
  • Children under 12 years are not allowed to do parasailing, unless they are accompanied by an adult.
  • Children under 14 years are not allowed to water ski, wake boat, kneeboard or banana, unless they are accompanied by an adult.
  • Children under 18 years are not allowed to do the sea breacher, jetley or jet-ski rides, unless they are accompanied by an adult.
  • It is compulsory to wear a life jacket for all water sports activities.
  • It is required to complete and sign the disclaimer form
