Qatar, Doha Monday 06 April 2015: Jazz at Lincoln Center Doha introduces “The Dinner Show” the ultimate gastronomic & musical experience. Award winning chefs and multi award winning musicians have come together to create a unique and unforgettable experience.

IMG_8330.jpgLaunched on the 2nd of April, The Dinner Show creates an intimate jazz experience as it features a two-hour set from JALC’s award winning jazz artists accompanying a tailored New Orleans-inspired menu.

On this occasion, Mr. Tareq Derbas, General Manager of The St Regis Doha said: “We saw an opportunity through our relationship with JALC NYC to bring this new and exciting Dinner Show concept to Doha and we are confident that it brings a more authentic experience for our guests.”

Available everyday except for Sundays, The Dinner Show runs from 7:30pm to 9:30pm and is followed by ‘Late Night Spin’, a session with renowned international guest DJs from the US who mix up the sounds playing jazz, soul, hip hop and world music from 10:00pm onward.

The Dinner Show programming for April and May will showcase some of NYC’s most talented and exciting Jazz vocalists and musicians. The first shows featured Bruce Harris, Richard Johnston and the very engaging, Shenel Johns.

The second week of April will welcome a special surprise artist joining The Dinner Show, performing “The Cool Side of Jazz” with Dominick. These shows will carry a strong Miles Davis, “Blues vibe”.

May programming sees the tempo move up to a Stevie Wonder, Ray Charles vibe with special guest artist Chantae Cann and JALC are excited to welcome back Gregory Generet, from NYC to end the season, with some real New Orleans style soul.
