InterContinental Doha The City is pleased to announce that it is the Official Hotel Partner of the 7th International Wedding Exhibition & Fashion Show Doha (IWED), taking place from 18 - 21 June 2014. As part of the hotel’s sponsorship, InterContinetntal Doha The City will host a private VIP Fashion Show and Gala Dinner on 19 June showcasing stellar made pieces by renowned designer Mr. Fadi Nahle who also is the Guest of Honour for IWED 2014.

His lucrative design career ensembles his creation with harmony in color, innovative style, and modernized entities that marks his talent’s way of creativity mainly when it comes to the Wedding Dresses and Evening Wears. The true connoisseur of both Oriental and European lines, the designer will flaunt his collection during this private VIP Fashion Show for the highly expected guests and exhibitors, as well as at the inauguration day of the exhibition.

To transform the Grand Ballroom into an elegant fashion show, InterContinental Doha The City has enlisted the design service of Majestic Celebrations. The design will include a full T-shaped catwalk surrounding by table seating.

“We are particularly excited to highlight our stunning Grand Ballroom for this event,” said Gaillard. “The space, which measures 1,015 square metres is large enough for 700 guests and has a private entrance. In addition, it has eight-metre high soaring ceilings and flexible space clear of pillars allowing brides to create the wedding space of their dreams.”
