Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC) is proud to announce it will again participate in the popular Qatar National Day activities at Darb Al Saai National Day.
HMC is partnering with the Supreme Council of Health and Primary Healthcare Corporation in a special tent in the Darb Al Saai grounds in Doha. The tent, which is open daily from 8 to 20 December, in the mornings from 8:00am to 12:00pm and in the evening from 4:00pm to 10:00pm.
The tent will have trained staff offering free basic health checks, including blood pressure and sugar checks, eye and dental checks. Staff will also be on hand to provide education on nutrition and other health-related information. Activities for families with children are provided to enable them to have an interactive and fun experience while learning more about living a healthy lifestyle. A mobile blood donor unit will be stationed in the Darb Al Saai grounds for any visitor willing to donate blood.
Meanwhile in the days leading up to Qatar National Day all HMC hospitals will offer traditional refreshments to visitors and several facilities will erect a tent where patients and families can experience traditional Qatari hospitality.
Many of HMC hospitals will feature the Arda - traditional Qatari dancing; Hamad General Hospital, Al Wakra Hospital, Al Khor Hospital and The Cuban Hospital will have special activities in the morning for children throughout the week leading up to the 18 of December.
