Galeries Lafayette Doha, the legendary Parisian Department Store in Qatar, has launched its unique Let’s Play Campaign that will take you back to your childhood days. The Department Store’s latest summer campaign offers a fun-filled escape from the heat and will be on until the end of September 2019.

Known for its 'retailtainment', Galeries Lafayette Doha is now dotted with retro games and animated interactive spaces for different age groups. A colorful map handed out at the entrance and found at the tills will guide you to the gaming spots set up across the three-storey Department Store.

Once at the gaming sections, you can return to the spontaneity and creativity of childhood and enjoy a selection of captivating games - whether it be table tennis, crazy golf, bowling, mini race track, billiards or retro video games such as Tetris and Space Invaders.

The use of neon colors, retro looks and games makes it a celebration of one’s youth, filled with fond memories, nostalgia and a yearning for life! The playful vibes combined with the exclusive Galeries Lafayette experience makes it a complete fun outing for the entire family.

Speaking about the campaign, Head of Visual Merchandising - Galeries Lafayette Mr. Kevin Gerard Pender said: “The Let’s Play concept is all about the desire to return to the spirited childhood days. Shopping should be fun and lighthearted and we wanted to transform the store into a playground, a place full of surprises.

"When I walk through the store and observe our customers enjoying the Let’s Play activation zones, it puts a smile on my face. Designing this concept was truly a lot of fun.”

Galeries Lafayette Doha at 21 High st, Katara, welcomes all to be a part of the Let’s Play Campaign and encourages visitors to use the #LetsPlayAtGLD and share their experience on social media.
