FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 is featured in a few scenes in Amazon Prime's new movie starring Chris Pratt titled "The Tomorrow War." In the movie, Dan Forester (Chris Pratt) was watching the World Cup on television in December 2022, when a group of time travelers arrive from the year 2051 to warn that thirty years in the future, mankind is losing a global war against alien invaders.
The game is being played between Brazil and an unidentifiable team in the Lusail Stadium when the time portal opened on the pitch, according to space.com's review.
According to Katara Studios' post on its Instagram account, they have played a small part in the production of the movie and that they (Doha Unit) conducted the production services for the team.
"We at Katara Studios are hugely honored to have played a small part in the production of Amazon Primes' Original latest Worldwide release, 'The Tomorrow War' starring Chris Pratt featuring an ensemble of a well-rounded cast.
As the Doha Unit, we conducted the production services for the team and want to say congratulations to the family behind this film and their release of a great movie."
