After two successful runs earlier this year (April 13 to May 12 and June 14 to July 7), Qatar's ambitious family-themed outdoor park is once again opening its doors to the raving public, a nod to their July 8, 2018 Facebook post which says:
"See you guys again in the cooler months! Yes, that’s right, the village is closed for the season. We thank you for all the love and support! Standby for the next open season. Til next time!
And just today (December 12, 2018), the Entertainment World Village (EWV) team happily shared another Instagram post announcing the park's much anticipated winter reopening including a major update that wasn't applicable during their first two editions.
Yes you heard us right, ILQers! Due to public demand and in celebration of the 2018 Qatar National Day, entering the EWV is now FREE OF CHARGE!
You can drop by starting tonight (December 12) from 7:00 PM till 1:00 AM to enjoy more than 30+ rides for kids, adults, and the whole family! Attractions are reasonably-priced from QR 10 all the way to QR 75.
Some of the crowd favourites include extreme ones such as Drop Tower, Roller Coaster, G-Force and the photogenic Giant Ferris Wheel, to name a few. On the sidelines are the Paintball arena, Dinosaur Park and Circus tent—which features breathtaking acts and performances performed by world’s most famous artistes.

Not only that. EWV's winter edition will also host the 'largest shopping exhibition' in Qatar, with a variety of retail shops from 25 different countries, including Qatar, Kuwait, Oman, Yemen, Jordan, Lebanon, Syria, Turkey, India, Pakistan, Malaysia, China, Thailand, Bangladesh, the Philippines, Iran, Italy, the US and European and African countries, showcased in 11 themed pavilions. It will provide a wide range of choices in fashion, beauty, jewellery, souvenirs, perfumes, carpets, home accessories, consumables and others.
Moreover, EWV is set to introduce international award-winning stage shows performed by troops from Russia, the US and Spain, in addition to roaming acts, skill games and other recreational activities such as doughnut boats where food is served in the sea.
The humongous EWV is strategically-located at Al Qutayfiya Beach area—near The Pearl and Lagoona Mall. It's accessible through the Diplomatic Club entrance if you turn left.
